I made an appointment very last minute because I went another nail salon and they were terrible! I saw Don and he did a great job removing my old dip nails. I asked for acrylic with gel and I am very happy with them! I will return to him before I head home, and whenever I am back visiting!

Okay so I do want to come and give my edit because I did have new nails done within the time period as the owner did reach out to me! Beautiful work I got Quinn doing my nails! They were super cute and I was very happy with them. But another $70. That was $155 for nails that were cute but definitely not worth that much. In addition about a week after having said nails one of the nails snapped completely in half 😔 I wouldn’t be quick to discredit what this place can produce but my experience this time just wasn’t what I was hoping it to be! I am eager to come back for another try as I’d love to love the place! I just want to come here and give my honest feedback! I booked last minute, had limited time, and I’ll fully admit I wasn’t the perfect customer — I’m a nail biter, I was a little rushed, and I changed my mind slightly from my original inspiration. I was allowed to select the base color, and I chose a pinker tone that unfortunately didn’t turn out how I expected. That said, while the staff was kind and accommodating, I sadly don’t love the nails I paid $85 for. The final result wasn’t quite what I was envisioning based on my reference photos, particularly in the shape and overall look. They are a bit thick and not quite what I was hoping for. I appreciate the effort and understand that things don’t always translate perfectly. I wouldn’t rule out coming back another day under different circumstances, but this particular set just missed the mark for me.

I recently visited Nail City and overall had a really nice experience. I was helped by Desiree, who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to. She spoke fluent English which I really appreciated because it made communication effortless. Honestly, our conversation was so good that it felt like I was just sitting there chatting with a friend. I came in around 5:30 PM without realizing they close at 7:00, so I was a little late in the day. Because of that, two technicians started working on me at the same time, Desiree began my pedicure while another gentleman started my acrylic full set. I didn’t mind at all since I knew I came in later than usual. The gentleman doing my nails was clearly in a bit of a rush because he needed a ride home and the person leaving was waiting on him. He asked Desiree if she could finish my full set and she kindly agreed. While he was working, I did notice there was quite a bit of glue around the edges of my nails and on my skin. He tried separating my skin with his nail and I later realized I had a few small cuts that were tender for a couple of days. Desiree finished my pedicure and did a good job. The massage wasn’t the best I’ve ever had and the cheese grater wasn’t used even though I chose the $65 pedicure, but honestly I was enjoying the conversation so much that it didn’t bother me much. She also did her best to reshape my nails after the initial work. They ended up a little wider than the slimmer almond shape I usually prefer, but considering she stepped in to fix someone else’s work, I think she did a great job with what she had to work with. The set still turned out pretty and I actually received several compliments on them. The salon itself is beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated, and it smelled good inside. It was also calm and not overstimulating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Price-wise, I paid $150 for a full acrylic set with gel polish, gel polish on my toes, and their most expensive pedicure. It is a bit on the higher side, but not unreasonable for those services. Overall I would give Nail City a 4 out of 5 stars. Desiree was wonderful and made the experience really enjoyable, and I would definitely come back again. I think the small issues I experienced were likely just due to the end-of-day rush.
